Position Summary

The FP&A Manager will support Oxford leadership as they continue to improve on the operations, strategy, and execution supporting Oxford’s business objectives.  This position will drive Oxford’s FP&A function and be responsible for the overall financial planning cadence (Development of the annual operating plan, and quarterly forecasting cadence), along with improving existing financial planning processes and tools. Oxford was recently carved out of large public company and acquired by Private equity. Ideal candidate will be comfortable rolling up sleeves and making their mark as Oxford builds out its standalone FP&A capabilities. Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of the annual operating plan across Oxford and its international subsidiaries
  • Development a quarterly forecasting cadence
  • Partner with corporate department heads on the development of their annual operating budgets, resource requirements and variance analysis
  • Communicate financial performance at appropriate level of detail to Executives and other stakeholders
  • Develop innovative client quality monthly reporting packs
  • Liaise with Oxford EPM consultant to optimize process and architecture. Initially this will include documentation a key financial and statistical accounts, along with a redesign of key account and entity hierarchies
  • Review the planning process in the US and in Oxford Europe subsidiaries. Design tools and process to scale with company growth

  • Proven experience working with a multi-dimension chart of accounts
  • Proven ability to summarize complex financial information and decompose key drivers

Education

Master's Level Degree in Business or Preferred
Bachelor's Level Degree in Business or Finance

Experience

  • BA/BS in accounting, finance, business or related field, or equivalent experience; MBA preferred
  • 2-5 years’ FP&A experience utilizing PBCS/EPBCS (Hyperion Planning), FCCS (HFM) or equivalent tools. Experience working for an implementation partner would be considered
  • Experience managing, working within, or directly with a mid-market corporate FP&A team
