The IT Finance Analyst will promote the innovative use of technology for strategic and profitability objectives. This position is responsible for supporting the IT organization and improving key linkages between IT and Finance. The IT Finance Analyst should have a thorough understanding of IT projects and infrastructure along with cost drivers and business benefit.  The IT Finance Analyst should be financially savvy, while having passion for technology, emerging digital transformation opportunities, cloud services and have the overall desire to improve processes and change business outcomes.



  • Engage in financial analysis and business case development for top IT projects and initiatives  
  • Develop the annual budget and quarterly forecasts for IT  
  • Document and review the financial administration of the IT organization
  • Partner with CIO and technology leaders in IT and cross-functionally to develop business cases for key IT projects and initiatives
  • Review portfolio of IT projects, assists in project prioritization based on quantitative and qualitative factors, and report on status to key stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Work with IT and other stakeholders to develop the annual IT capital and expense Budget, track performance against Budget, develop forecasts as appropriate, and assist in development of multi-year IT strategic plans
  • Support preparation of management reports, lead or participate in presenting results to senior management
  • Document and participate in IT financial processes and propose and execute improvements
  • Other duties as assigned



  • BA/BS in accounting, finance, business or related field
  • 2-4 years FP&A experience, including developing department/cost center budgets and forecasts, experience with IT or a shared service function is helpful
  • Familiar with financial tools used to quantify project benefit such a DCF or ROIC models
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and financial concepts, particularly relevant to IT or capital budgeting
  • Experience with Hyperion/ Hyperion Planning or related EPM tools
  • Strong Excel skills. Other MS-Office skills, such as PowerPoint, and Visio are desirable
  • Experience with Agile Product Development, CI or Lean concepts is helpful
  • Project Management experience or exposure
  • Strong oral and written communications skills, ability to synthesize large amounts of information into relevant points for executive decisions
