Position Summary

The Learning and Development Program Manager will be focused on sales and recruiting enablement and is responsible for the analysis, design and implementation, delivery and evaluation of blended learning solutions that incorporate best practices in adult learning and instructional design. This individual will conduct substantial training and performance needs assessments and design learning solutions to close gaps.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver training in both virtual and classroom settings
  • Define, develop, deliver, evaluate and maintain a core learning curriculum for assigned business process focused on sales and recruiting enablement
  • Implement training effectiveness assessments and continuously evaluate opportunities to optimize training
  • Assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of skills and techniques into employee’s job performance
  • Periodically revise ongoing programs to ensure materials taught remain current
  • Stay on top of new trends and tools in employee development
  • Communicate with managers regarding any relevant issues that arise during training
  • Devise and recommend changes in group and individual training plans
  • Participate in weekly meetings with manager to review challenges and training plans
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills

  • Knowledge of instructional design theory and learning principles
  • Adequate knowledge of learning management software
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools, and techniques
  • Sound decision making and organizational skills
  • Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must
  • Creative, outgoing, energetic person with a demonstrable track record of exceeding goals

Education

Bachelor's Level Degree in Education or Preferred

Experience

  • BS Degree in Education, training, or related field experience in staffing or sales 
  • Proven experience in designing multiple training events in a corporate setting
  • Proven ability to master the full training cycle
