Position Summary

This position is responsible for successfully developing compliant, competitive, innovative, and compelling proposals through effective collaboration across teams that include internal staff, corporate partners, consultants, and supporting vendors. Responsibilities include leading and project managing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and AdHoc proposals, resulting in client-centric proposal packages that align with the team’s vision, the business strategy, and the client’s requirements.

  • Participate in proposal strategy meetings to identify and document solutions, win themes, and discriminators
  • Serve as a project manager throughout the RFP production and review processes
  • Lead Kick Off and Draft Review Calls throughout the proposal process
  • Determine appropriate base content to draft proposals. Compose custom and tailored content for both solicited and proactive proposals to perform work/provide a solution on behalf of a client in clear, concise, and compelling language.
  • Provide team with insight, leadership, and work guidance on all proposal content
    • Work closely with the sales team and internal Subject Matter Experts to produce and deliver technically accurate, high-quality, on-time responses for Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFI's), and AdHoc proposals 
    • Convey business value or complex technical solutions in a concise language understood by a range of audiences

Additional Responsibilities

  • Manage, create, and generalize reports on accounts by leveraging Tableau and market data software. Analyze and apply any historical submission data or reports into RFx response
    • Effectively use existing data to address recurring content inquiries and develop strong proposals 
  • Evaluate proposal content for clarity, consistency, and responsiveness to requirements and follow up with contributors to close any gaps
  • Manage multiple proposal requests and projects simultaneously, while maintaining quality standards and meeting deadlines
  • Develop and maintain a library of RFP content, standard language, and exhibits. Audit and create proposal artifacts, including customer research, data compilations, special analysis projects, etc. 
  • Train and develop Proposal Writers on proposal management processes
  • Design and develop customized sales materials, including whitepapers and PowerPoint presentations that are consistent with Oxford's branding guidelines
  • Lead vendor profile setup and other administrative tasks as assigned

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams) and Adobe Suite
  • Strong prioritization skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, coordinate shifting priorities, respond to short-term deadlines, and manage fluctuating workloads with tight timelines

Education

Experience

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of experience in direct proposal creation and process management
  • 5+ years in professional business writing and communications
  • 5+ years of proven experience applying best practices in proposal management to ensure the timely delivery of proposal submissions that are fully compliant with solicitation instructions or scope requirements

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • APMP Certification
  • Staffing and Consulting Industry Experience

Salary Information: $65,000-$85,000
