Position Summary
This position is responsible for architecting and leading Oxford’s Cloud practice. As the Cloud Solutions Leader/SME for all public cloud initiatives, this person will scope and evaluate new and existing opportunities, support day-to-day client meetings, demonstrate solutions capabilities, and support Oxford in obtaining and achieving cloud competency requirements for our AWS partnership along with future potential partnerships with Azure & GCP
The Cloud Solutions Leader/SME is accountable for full lifecycle ownership of the Cloud offering, with a primary emphasis on framework integrity, credibility, and delivery. While the Cloud Practice Director/SME sets direction and maintains methodological authority, they lead and rely on the Sales Leader to activate pipeline, orchestrate pursuits, and drive adoption across the field. Together, they ensure the offerings maintain both market relevance and delivery confidence.

Responsibilities
- Support Oxford sales teams with all clients related matters in regard to public Cloud (AWS, Azure and GCP)
- Lead Oxford in achieving our AWS competency requirements as well as potential new cloud partnerships with MS Azure & GCP.
- Support and progress Oxford’s AWS Partnership Program.
- Design, develop, and market service solutions while supporting account managers on Cloud calls
- Collaborate and Advise Clients on Oxfords services.
- Maintain a distinctive, evidence-based POV for the Cloud solution area.
- Support and in some cases Lead client scoping and discovery calls related to their Cloud Initiatives.
- Ensure repeatable frameworks and methodologies are activated broadly.
- Direct the Sales Leader to build disciplined pipeline momentum.
- Safeguard delivery integrity across early-stage deployments.
- Expand Cloud relevance across Oxford’s full portfolio.
Additional Responsibilities
- Define standards and best practices by conducting POCs for new cloud technologies leveraged by the development organization and engineering teams.
- Engage with client stakeholders and third parties to understand how their systems work.
- Own the content and lead workshops on technical topics with the client.
- Act as Cloud SME to lead the creation of best practices, marketing materials, case studies, white papers, and workshops.
- Own design, validation, and refresh cadence of diagnostics, toolkits, and scorecards.
- Direct Sales Leader on how assets should be positioned externally.
- Act as SME sponsor in deal-shaping and objection handling.
- Review proposals for technical, ROI, or alignment integrity.
- Help build out client SOWs and Presentations.
Skills
- Expert knowledge in Public Cloud
- AWS (preferred), Azure & GCP
- Experience in Cloud Computing, Storage, Data/Analytics, DevOps/Automation and Cloud Security
- Experience working with large national accounts.
- Excellent organization, time management, and presentation skills.
- Strong business acumen and communication skills.
- Ability to drive results and set/manage priorities effectively.
- Proven problem-solving ability and consultative sales orientation.
- Customer-centric mindset with strong relationship management skills.
Education
Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Computer Science.
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner — Preferred.
- AWS Solutions Architect — Preferred.
- Certifications Azure and/or GCP (desired)
- 5+ years of experience in a solutions provider environment, predominantly Consulting, Technical Services, and Technology Solutions.
- 8+ years of cloud experience for designated industry or focus area.
- 10–12 years in consulting or delivery-led SME leadership roles.
- Experience guiding sales teams or pursuits from an SME vantage point.
- Strong articulation of ROI and technical-to-executive translation.
- Experience in Cybersecurity Frameworks (e.g. NIST2.0, ISO27001, SOC2 etc)
