Position Summary

The Travel Coordinator supports the business objectives for the organization by coordinating travel arrangements for our consultants working on remote assignments as well as employee travel. 

Responsibilities

  • Make professional and accurate business travel arrangements for our corporate accounts including air, car, hotel, and ground transportation reservations
  • Obtaining appropriate receipts for travel-booked itineraries
  • Ensuring proper coding of travel itineraries to appropriate projects
  • Follow company procedures, account guidelines and customer service standards in all areas of travel coordination
  • Work as a team member and assist others as needed in completing all functions related to servicing the client and the consultant and employee

Additional Responsibilities

  • Maintain favorable working relationships with consultants and all other company employees
  • Provide solutions to travel related problems clients may have
  • Promptly notify manager of all matters of significance
  • Learn new software and maintain excellent computer skills
  • Work well under pressure to resolve unexpected and unanticipated problems
  • Show flexibility to perform unscheduled assignments
  • Maintain excellent attendance
  • Other duties as assigned

Education

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years corporate travel or travel agency experience with knowledge of Apollo and Concur (GDS proficiency is required for this position)
  • Previous experience in customer service roles
  • Proven knowledge of MS Office products including Outlook
