POSITION SUMMARY

The Customer Accounting Specialist (CAS) is responsible for the coordination of specific field operations as it relates to account activities, assignment setup and client billing processing and associated adherence to policies and procedures.  The CAS supports the incoming team members to ensure each is fully briefed on the office cadence and training sessions/materials preparedness.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sustain daily operations such as consultant set up, weekly time and expense verification
  • Ensure compliance with client’s expectations around time and expense entries
  • Implement new company initiatives and ensure all customers are aware of the changes
  • Monitor compliance with policies, procedures and standards
  • Provide feedback  to management regularly
  • Verify consultant record processing, compliance and accurate pay and bill set up
  • Ensure change requests/assignment modifications to consultant records are handled timely
  • Manage and reconcile the Missing Time Report
  • Manage consultant’s time and expense processing on a weekly basis
  • Assist with obtaining and reporting against client purchase orders
  • Manage the unbilled report by making sure all outstanding items are researched and corrected
  • Schedule new hire workshops, office tours, workstation set up and create a welcome packet
  • Provide superior customer service to internal and external customers
  • Serve as the liaison between the office and Onboarding, Billing, Payroll, and Travel
  • Provide coverage for other branch Customer Accounting Specialists as needed
  • Prepare and analyze operational reports and share with leadership
  • Backup support for the site Office Support Specialist
  • Other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field preferred
  • Superior customer service, oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with limited supervision
  • Outstanding organization and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and handle stressful situations
  • Detail oriented
  • Top notch problem solving and decision making skills
  • Coachable and receptive to feedback
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel, Word, PeopleSoft and Internet experience 
  • Previous experience with E-Verify and/or Form I-9
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft program
