Position Summary

The Billing Coordinator is responsible for diverse day-to-day activity of invoicing functions, to include: all client’s billing and invoicing activities, assignment maintenance and preparing billing adjustments.


  • Protect revenue through timely billing and by resolving invoice disputes
  • Maintain consistent communication with all internal and external customers to insure accurate billing by compiling and analyzing data
  • Prepare billing adjustments when necessary to make sure client is invoiced correctly and Home office Billing Worksheet is accurate
  • Provide excellent customer service support to sales and operations in achieving financial goals and customer satisfaction
  • Handle client bill preparations
  • Respond to billing inquiries from management, clients, etc.
  • Input and maintain client billing information into PeopleSoft
  • Provide project assistance/analysis as needed
  • Handle research requests for detail/documentation as needed
  • Stay self-motivated to meet deadlines, ability to multitask and company prioritize
  • Other duties as assigned

Associate College Degree in Accounting or Business
Bachelor's Level Degree in Accounting or Business


  • 1-3 years of experience in a billing department or financial office
  • PeopleSoft and billing experience required
